Behavior and cognition of Fox Terrier
As any other dog breeds Fox Terriers have a lot of pros and cons and do not fit every master. Some people can say that having a foxy is very entertaining and fun, others will try to convince you that a Fox Terrier in the house is a real bother; as we mentioned it all depends on your personality and life style; this kind of dog match perfectly cheerful and fresh people. Providing enough exercise for your pet is something very important. As a natural chaser and hunter Fox Terrier needs a lot of attention in order to vent their high amount of energy. Its feisty attitude and chasing instincts can sometimes cause troubles represented by aggression towards other animals, so it can be a real problem to get a Fox Terrier when having another pet at home ( a cat, rabbit, hamster, parrot etc.). You like to relax in silence? Having a Fox Terrier will change that habit of yours because he likes to bark a lot. Another big problem is keeping this hyper active dog in the yard, they are known as very skillful escaping masters, so don’t be confused by their little height, digging tunnels and jumping fences are their specialties. Try to apply less physical chastise when educating, Fox Terriers because they are apt to return pain when receiving it. Although all these facts Fox Terriers remain very good companions being able to fill your life with joy.
